I was asked the differens between 「貸す」 and 「貸し出す」. I cheked 「貸し出す」 in a dictionaly. It says 「貸し出す」 is lend out in English, so I told the questioner so but the questioner said 「I dont think 貸す and 貸し出す are parallel to lend and lend out in English, where I think the only difference is lend out is more natural without an indirect object.」. I cant understand the diffrence between lend and lend out and what the questioner said. Could you teach me them?
